Finished projects

If you remember we recently had some work done to our front flower beds. In case you forgot here are the before pictures. Such a mess!

And the after pics

We had the stone work completed last week. And here is the final product!

We had them use the left overs shrubs from the front beds in the backyard beds. This stone work was already in place with empty beds so I was thrilled we had something to plant here.

Along with the bed work, we had to get part of the backyard leveled out in order to get the kid's playset in place. They brought in dirt to level it out and then planted sod on top. Here is a before picture of the yard.

And here is the much anticipated playset. The boys are LOVING it!

They are loving their picnic table. Perfect for a little afternoon snack.

And what would a post be without a picture of my little ones.

  1. Wow - your yard looks SO pretty! Love all the work you guys had done!

The playset turned out so nice - they'll have lots of fun times playing out there!

  2. It looks fantastic! I remember when we got our rock wall - some of the best money we ever spent on our house in Frisco. I enjoyed it every season. The rock wall complements the rock on your house so well - just like it was always meant to be.

I know Alex will love joining Jacob, Luke and Sarah for play time on the play set one of these days! That looks like hours of fun!

  3. Your landscaping project looks wonderful!! I love the rock beds! Amanda and Jerry did their's in Frisco like that. It really goes well with the rock on your home!! The playset looks like it will be the spot of many, many good times to come!! And, the three of them in the bed, TOO CUTE!!

  4. Katherine, it turned out GREAT! I love it! I'm sure you have a new appreciation for your home now everytime you pull in the driveway. It has such a nice impact on curb appeal. And I can only imagine the hours of fun to be had on the new playset. Especially in this gorgeous fall weather, you are all set! Now you can breathe a sigh of relief that the project is finished. Great job!!

  5. It all looks SO great! Makes me want to do something with our yard! Jackson can't wait to come play on the play set tomorrow. Hope the weather cooperates!!!
