Misc pictures

I realized I have some recent pictures that I never posted so here goes...a photo dump as several of you say! :-)

The tongue comes out when baby girl is focused!

Daddy had lots of helpers working in the yard.
During Lent, I did a jelly bean activity with the boys. Basically every color jelly bean represented  a certain characteristic.  If they showed that characteristic, they got to put a jelly bean in the jar.  For example, green was a good deed, red was a sacrifice, pink was forgiveness etc. I kept the jelly beans out so the boys could easily access them when they earned one for their jar. So, Miss Sarah decided to take it on herself to get her hands on those jelly beans. She pushed one of the bar stools over to the counter from the island. Climbed up on it and pulled the jelly bean container close to her. She then carefully chose a jelly bean, or two or three!

Caught ya!

She is one determined little girl, I tell ya!
The boys making themselves comfortable having a snack while watching TV.

We met a little friend at the park one day. Lauren is one month older than Sarah. They were holding hands until I got ready to take the picture!

Jacob had a very loose top tooth for several days. He was so anxious to lose it but got nervous every time we tried to pull it. It was barely hanging on but he had such fun moving it around with his tongue.

He lost the bottom two teeth a year ago and nothing since.  The other top tooth is loose as well so I would love for him to lose that one too and have both front teeth missing at the same time! :-)

He tried to pull it himself but no such luck. He had a baseball game the next night. I told him I didn't want him to loose it at the game and risk not being able to find it. We tried and tried the next day, before the game but again no luck.

And wouldn't you believe, he lost it at the game after all.  Thankfully he was in the dugout, took a drink and out it came. He took it over and told his coach and his coach brought it over to me. All the kids around were fascinated and Jacob was just smiling, bloody teeth and all!

Sarah's 1st pigtails

I was going to include a few pictures of Sarah's first pigtails in another "Misc" post but after looking through all the pictures I decided a separate post was much needed for this topic! :-)

Oh sweetness, how girlie you are! Mommy had such fun finally tackling pigtails. Getting you to stand still for any amount of time has always been the biggest obstacle. However, I caught you at a good time and was able to do it. You kept them in all day and I loved watching you bounce around with your pigtails! (excuse the poor IPhone quality)

Oh sweet Sarah-bear! You are my precious, precious girl!

Our little sluggers

The time has come. The time for the Webb household to have not one, but two kids playing sports at the same time. Two practices during the week, two games during the weekend. It has begun but it's so fun.

We gave Jacob and Luke the choice to play baseball or soccer. They both chose baseball. Jacob is on the Cubs team and Luke is on the Reds team. They had a great opening ceremony for the kids before the first games were played. Complete with activities, team introductions and even a fly-by.

This is Luke's first team sport and it is a hoot to say the least. A team of all four year olds who have never played before makes for some interesting practices and games. The games are very typical...kids playing in the dirt, watching the ball roll past them, not knowing where to throw the ball...oh it makes me laugh.

His first time up to bat.

Good hit

Run Lukie Run!

He has played the catcher position several times.  He's not too sure what to think about this one.

Good game, sweet Luke!

Jacob is playing in the beginning coach pitch level again this year. To play in the advanced coach pitch you have to "try out" and be placed according to skills. We thought we would give him one more year to practice his skills and then move him up next year. He has a great coach this year and Jim is the assistant coach and has been enjoying helping out.

Jacob is on the left- looks like such a big boy out there.

Good catch!

Jacob has been doing great at bat. He has hit many singles and several doubles and he is very proud of that!

Cooling off with a snow cone.
Here's to a fun season of Tball and baseball!

Joseph's 1st birthday

My sweet nephew, Joseph turned one this past Monday.

He's loving his new push car and does a great job walking behind it.

Kyla and Michael threw a fun party to celebrate their sweet boy! Lots of good food, fun games and great family time. Joseph had a fun time opening his gifts and got lots of fun, new toys.

Doesn't this face look ready for some cake?

Sweet family!

Sweet boy LOVED his cake. We got such a kick out of this face he kept making.  You could tell it was his first time to taste something sweet.

My favorite picture!! He just couldn't get enough and put his whole face into it.

Just look at that face.

Getting some Grandma cuddles after waking up from a nap.

Best buddies!
