Disneyland, Part 1

Sunday morning we surprised the kids with the next phase of our California trip. Jim waited with the kids in the bathroom with the door closed while I laid out their Mickey shirts and Disney autograph book from our last Disney trip. On the count of three they came out and were surprised to see their Disney stuff. They had no idea there was a DisneyWorld in California. Surprise!! We got them dressed, packed our bags, said goodbye to San Diego and drove 1.5 hours north to Anaheim. We arrived to Disneyland by 10:30 and were ready to start the day!

Dressed and ready to go!

We made it!

We headed straight for Cars Land, the newest attraction at Disneyland.

And it was so very well done. Literally looked just like Radiator Springs. So fun!

Our friends went with us although they just went for Sunday then headed back to San Diego for the remainder of their trip.

Ca-chow! He even talked!

Waiting in line for one of our favorite rides, the Tow Mater ride.

Luke loves his Mater!
They even had the slowly blinking yellow traffic light.

Such a fun ride.

Luigi's tire shop ride.

On the rocket ride.

Luke and Charlie in the front row of this Goofy roller coaster with their arms up. So brave!

Fun play spot with lots of climbing areas.

A Bug's Life

A Bug's Life ride.

Luke, Sarah and Charlie dancing along with the green army men.

On the Soarin' ride!

Saying goodbye to our sweet friends. They headed back after dinner.

How is it that this place never gets old to us!? We love us some Disney! We always have such a fun time, the kids have a blast and we make such fun memories. The fun thing about Disneyland is it felt new in many ways with so many different rides and attractions than DisneyWorld in Florida. Stay tuned...two more days to come! :-)
