Last day of school

I am WAY behind on my blog postings. It's been a busy couple of weeks. Jacob finished up school about a week and a half ago and the same day had his last
Tball game. It was a busy day to say the least but we are excited that summer is finally here.

Leaving for his last day.

In celebration of the last day, the school had a Field Day where each class went around to different activities at the school. Luke and I went and as you can see, he wasn't going to be left out of the fun.

Jacob and Sawyer- his best friend from his class. (he always goes for the cute blondes-haha)

His teacher, Mrs. Scates

His other teacher, Mrs. Fuches

As a science project, his class planted flowers back in the Spring. Here is his little flower.

We've had a great 2 years at his little school. He will be moving to a new school in the fall in Frisco. Goodbye CCDC.

After the last tball game, they received their trophies.

He has been so excited about his trophy. We went out to dinner after the game and he had to take it in with him. And that night, he wanted to put it on his nightstand so he could sleep by it. Sweet boy!

  1. My goodness, a busy day indeed!! What fun memories Jacob will have from his preschool. I know it'll be a little bittersweet to start at his new school this fall, but he will easily make new friends (and possibly another blond-headed lady friend, ha ha!) I love how Luke was joining Jacob in the field day activities. Is Luke going to be attending any preschool this fall? I'm still debating on starting Kaitlynn, but I'll probably wait until January of the new year.

I LOVE Jacob's trophy from t-ball! Connor would be exactly the same, wanting to take it everywhere (and rightfully so!) What a fun season!

I know you guys are going to have such a fun and busy summer! I can't wait to hear what activities you have lined up before sweet Sarah makes her arrival!

  2. Another chapter ends while a new one is set to begin. Bittersweet indeed. It's so hard for me to believe that Jacob will be five this year. And that Luke is well on his way to being three. They're growing up so fast, Katherine. Thank you for posting pics of the boys in their daily activities. It makes me feel almost like I'm there to see it in person. Almost.

PS - I'd like to make a request for a new belly pic so that I can see little Sarah growing, too. =)
