This past Monday was a teacher work day at Jacob's school so he had the day off. It was a special treat to have him home with us during the week. I wanted to make it a special day for him so we started the day off by going to the donut shop that he and Luke love. We then headed to Grapevine to Legoland Discovery Center. We hadn't been and had heard great things about it. The boys just loved it and are already asking when we can go back. But let me just say how glad I am that we went when it wasn't crowded. I can't imagine what that place is like during the summer or any other peak time. Eek!
Posing in front of The Ballpark made out of Legos.
The Dallas skyline in Legos.
The Great Wolf Lodge in Legos.
Hard at work.
Jacob loved building Lego race cars and spent much time at the racing tracks.
Sarah found some stairs and kept herself busy playing on them.
Luke racing his Lego race car.
More stairs.
They had two rides that the boys enjoyed.
Miss Sarah had to have her turn!
What a fun day - I bet the boys loved that! So cute that Sarah always finds a way to entertain herself! :)

That lego place is amazing. I know the boys really enjoyed all that and sweet little Sarah looks like she just enjoys herself wherever she is! She looks so cute in that little dress. ;) I think Alex would really like some of the things in the legoland, too. blessings ~ Tanna
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lot of fun. I remember when it opened up. We talked about going. I bet Jackson would enjoy it. We may just have to check it out. What a great way to spend Jacob's day off!

What a fun day off for Jacob! It looks amazing and definitely a perfect activity for the kids to enjoy together. Isn't it funny how school holidays have a whole new meaning now? I'm already looking forward to our winter holidays this year -- I see trips to malls and play areas in our future!!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I am LOVING that sweet navy dress on Miss Sarah! It fits so perfectly and makes me so happy to see it again! :-)
