It's a...

I still can't make out this picture like I could with the boys. But in the sonogram technician's own words "Yes, this is definitely a girl!" We are taking her word for it! :)

We are thrilled to be adding a sweet baby girl to the family. And more importantly we are thrilled and very blessed that everything measured and checked out just perfect with her. It really is such a relief to know she is growing like she should be.

Just look at that sweet little profile and her arm in the air

Here's the belly at 20 weeks

The boys love my expanding belly

After the appointment I had to go to Wal-Mart to get a few things. Of course I walked right past the baby clothes and just had to pick up a little something girlie. And no, it's not pink. They didn't have her size in pink so I got yellow! I can only imagine sweet little Sarah in this come August/September.

  1. Yay, I'm still so surprised and excited about the news! And yes, shopping for a sweet baby girl is so fun. Believe me you are going to have a hard time passing up some of the precious outfits that are always out there! I think Sarah's girlfriend Kaitlynn will have a couple hand-me-downs to add to the mix, too!

You are looking GREAT, Mama! Congrats on a sweet and healthy baby girl!!

  2. Oh that's so fun and exciting! We're so thrilled you are expecting a little girl! That's fun that you bought her first little outfit. What a lucky little girl to join your family and with two loving big brothers she'll have to look after her.

I told Michael at lunch what you were having and he got a huge smile on his face and was so excited too to be welcoming a new niece!

Love you girl and congrats again! you look sure cute in your belly pics. You'll be on "bump watch" now just like the hollywood stars! :)

  3. Always trust your gut. That's what I'm saying now after I second guessed myself in your poll and said I thought you would be having a boy. Figures though - for both Jacob and Luke I said girl and they were boys. I keep getting it backwards. Oh well, one thing I KNOW FOR SURE is that Aunt Amanda is going to want to spoil sweet baby Sarah plum rotten!

Sooooooo excited to welcome this precious blessing into the family. Congrats to all of you. Love you!

  4. Oh my gosh. I am just SO excited about your news. Another baby boy would have been a blessing too but a girl is going to be such a fun addition to your family! I can't wait to see how sweet the boys are with her. It's going to be precious. You having a little girl will make it a little easier if we end up having one. We can share in the shock together. :-) Even if we have a boy, they will still be best buds!

So happy for you and thankful that she is healthy!

  5. I'm dancin' the happy dance!! I was so excited to hear the news from Amanda yesterday! And, I love the name Sarah. So perfect. =) Thank you, Father, for all the good news.
