Birthday Boy

It's hard to believe my sweet Jacob is 4 today! Where has the time gone? We had a great party over the weekend and we got to celebrate today at school as well. We are off to another party this weekend at my parents since they weren't able to come last weekend to celebrate. There is nothing like spreading the festivities out over several weeks!

A big boy bike was his big gift this year. He has been so excited about getting a new bike and he just had to have a Spiderman bike.

All geared up and ready to ride

Look out world, here comes Jacob

Little Luke had to give it a try, just a little big for him. But at least now he gets Jacob's retired tricycle!

And of course we had to have Spiderman cupcakes for the party. Believe it or not, I actually made and decorated them!

We had his party at Boomerangs, a huge bounce house place that Jacob LOVES! Here is Luke hard at play, he loves it too!

Boomerang's mascot is a kangaroo

Is this a happy boy, or what!!

  1. I cannot believe sweet Jacob is 4 years old. I still remember Amanda, myself, and your sisters all in the waiting room listening to his first cries. Makes me teary to think that he's been here 4 years! He's special because he was the first of all of our babies. I just love him to pieces. Happy birthday Jacob!

P.S. I'm impressed with your cupcakes and love your Halloween blog background.

  4. Hello, Martha. Nice job with those cupcakes! =)

Jacob, you are a precious, precious blessing to all of us. It's fun for your Aunt Amanda to think back to the night you were born. The weather had turned chilly for one of the first times that fall. Your Uncle Jerry and I left work early and got bundled up in our sweatshirts to come to the hospital to welcome you into this world. You have always brought such joy to those around you. We love you!
