Weekend Fun

Assuming we will be a little busy on my actual birthday (hopefully cuddling a new baby) we had an early birthday celebration with Jim's family Saturday night. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen and had a great time.

I asked for a smile and this is what I got...

After dinner we decided to stop by the Frisco Safety Palooza and check it out. This was a kick off to National Night Out.

They had several fire engines...

and motorcycles

And what is a family event without a bounce house, which the boys and cousin Emily loved more than anything else.

They also offered fingerprints for the kids identification cards.

And then there was cell phone Sally, where the kids could practice dialing 911.

And a random picture of Luke. He loves sitting/playing with empty laundry baskets, all while eating his favorite fruit. Which he insists to eat whole now instead of in slices. And does a pretty good job with it I might add.

And I'm excited to say that Sarah might be thinking about coming sooner rather than later. I've had a couple of signs today of early labor. Mild, irregular contractions have begun. I go to the doctor Tuesday morning and hopefully we will know more then. My guess is she will be here within the next few days! Please pray for an uncomplicated labor and delivery and a healthy baby girl. I will be sure to post an update as soon as I have one! :)

  1. So glad you got to have a fun birthday dinner with Jim's family. I have a feeling you and Sarah are going to be sharing lots of birthday celebrations. :-)

Glad the kids enjoyed Safety Palooza. Jackson loved the cell phone too! He was very interested in the bounce house but when we got up there it was full of BIG kids so we moved on. Our neighborhood is having a national night out celebration with pizza, sno cones, and a bounce house so maybe we can try it again this week.

I'll be waiting anxiously to hear all the updates on Sarah's arrival. I bet you guys are dying for her to be here! We are too!
