I say Round 1 because there will more than likely be a second round of pictures in the bluebonnets. It was extremely overcast the day we went and every time the boys went to look up at the camera they had to squint. Plus Luke was tired and really (more so than usual) not into me taking his picture. And since this bluebonnet patch is only 10 minutes from our house, why not!! :) Here is what we got so far...
This is the one and only I got of them both looking at the camera and smiling!
Jacob took this one
And believe it or not, Lukie took this one
I love the photo with Lukie squinting while his mouth is open! While Luke may not enjoy being photographed, he could be a budding photographer. The photo he shot was great for having such little experience. =)
ReplyDeleteI hate that they were squinty on an overcast day. Overcast is the best kind of light to shoot in when you're wanting to get photos outdoors. I'm looking forward to round 2!
Those are so sweet. And I'm so impressed with their picture taking skills! I have got to get some pics of Jackson in the bluebonnets! Looking forward to round two!
ReplyDeleteOh so cute! Sweet little squinty fellas! :D
ReplyDeleteI miss bluebonnets so much - they are such pretty flowers and make such great pics! Especially when you have adorable kiddos in them!
Great, great pics! The bluebonnets are just gorgeous. Makes me love living in Texas!! My favorite is the photo of Jacob up close with the blurry flowers in the background -- so artistic!! Go girl!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful boys. Beautiful bluebonnets. Beautiful mom. Katherine, I think you may have some future professional photographers on your hands. They did a gret job, too!
