Spring time

Spring is and always has been my favorite time of the year. I love the rebirth of everything...the colors, the smells, the sights. We met some of my old co-workers from Southwest Airlines (that all stay at home now) at the Dallas Arboretum last week and had a great time. Great company, great sights and a great day overall.

One of the first things Jacob asked was could he take his shoes off and run in the grass. He and Stella had a blast.

And Lukie was never far behind

Luke is still in his "no picture" phase so I got very few pictures of him or he and Jacob together.

See what I mean

And again

Love, love, love the tulips

Does he looked relaxed or what?

Ice cream treat

My friend, Hedy who has identical twin boys...very, very cute twin boys I might add. They are 2 of the cutest babies. She's got the process down pat!

Jacob enjoyed getting some smiles from one of the twins

  2. Great pictures, Katherine!!! Oh, my gosh! That's a lot of strollers. I love that so many of your friends have sweet babies and could all get together to go to the Arboretum. That place is incredible! I want to be running barefoot with the boys!

  3. What a fun outing! The flowers are gorgeous, the kids look like they had a blast, and I know the moms must have enjoyed their time to visit. I love the picture of Luke laying down with his head propped up in his hands. That is too cute. And it looks like Jacob is more than willing to make up for any lack of interest in photo taking that Luke has - ha! He was hamming it up in the photos.

Do you remember when Jacob was about a year and a half old and we went to see the Dallas Blooms? I think he wore those cute overalls and a little hat. What a doll. That seems like yesterday and now he's growing up so fast. I sure wish we knew how to slow that clock down...

    Miss you.

  5. Looks like such a fun day! We've got to soak in this gorgeous weather now while we can; it'll be hot and sticky before we know it!

  6. Your pictures turned out great. Lukie is just like Jackson - not smiling for the camera. When do they start doing that? The weather looks perfect and the flowers were beautiful. And how fun that you got to get together with so many people you used to work with!
